ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY

6 years ago when I was just a photography beginner, my friend Jacky & Gigi asked me to shoot their engagement photos. This is how I became a professional photographer. I am always passionate about documenting love through my lenses, and engagement photography has so much fun and at the same time allows room for infusing creativity.

Where does the session take place?

Most couples prefer outdoor sessions such as in the nature or at the iconic spots in the city, whichever has a special meaning to them. I usually go to spots with beautiful sunshine in the city, such as Baker Beach, Crissy Fields, the Golden Gate Park, the Palace of Fine Arts and Potrero Hills. Other places like the Heather Farm in Walnut Creek, Lake Merritt in Oakland and the UC Berkeley Campus are also excellent choices. 

 

How long is the session?

Each session is 90 mins.
 

What is your style?

I am fun, interactive and make couples feel comfortable in front of the lenses. I use natural and realistic approach to document love. During the sessions, couples maybe asked to tell a joke, tickle or kiss each other, while I release the shutter in burst mode to capture the moment.

Do we need any props?

Yes we do! Props make the photos look a lot intriguing by adding unique personal touch. Do bring along your favorite accessories, love letters, or objects that carry special meaning to you.

How would you help us to look natural?

Don't worry if you are not very used to be in the pictures. I would guide you and your partner into natural lights and give directions to make you all feel comfortable.

What should we wear?

This is a question that all clients will ask, I have discussed in details and suggested different examples on the outfits here.


What is a mini-session?

A mini session is a 30 mins photoshoot that is priced at $300 and includes 10 photos. Additional photos with retouch are $20 each.

Do you edit the photos?

Yes, the photos you've chosen will be retouched to adjust the exposure, contrast and skin tone. Wrinkles, acnes on the face, dirts on the clothes and surroundings will be removed. I typically spend 30-40 mins on each photo to make it look perfect.

 

How much do you charge and what does that include?

The 90-min session fee is $250 which covers my time, talents and equipment costs. It includes an online gallery for you to view and order photos. Price of each image is $20 and all the images you ordered will be retouched and delivered to you in high resolution jpeg files through the cloud. 

Traveling fee may be applied to places 20 miles in circle away from San Francisco.

I need canvases and photo albums, how much are they?

Canvases and photo albums start at $300, and we offer 16" x 24", 8"x8" , 10"x10" canvases and fine photo albums.
