KIDS & FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY

I am currently visiting Toronto for creating beautiful, ever-lasting family photos for Canadians. Canada is my 2nd home, I grew up in Toronto and had lots of sweet memories with my family.

Where does the session take place?

Main Street, Unionville (Markham, Ontario)

 

How long is the session?

Due to my short stay in Toronto, I will just do mini-sessions in the historical Main Street in Unionville, each is 20-30 mins. The shorter duration is perfect for families with young kids (aged under 6). If you prefer regular sessions, the time is 90 mins and can be booked privately at christinaphotography@hotmail.com.

What is your style?

I love to document families & kids in a natural and truest approach. During the photoshoot I would ask parents to tickle their kids, tell a joke, hug each other and kiss them on the cheeks. There will be lots of fun and laughters throughout the process, you'll feel relaxed. Both posed and candid shots are encouraged.

Do we need any props?

Yes we do! Props make the photos look a lot intriguing by adding unique personal touch. Do bring along your kids' favorite toys, books, stuffed animals or accessories. If it is for his/her birthday or some other celebrations, I encourage you to prepare banners, streams, balloons and lanterns. There're lots of stores that you could shop these items at affordable prices, such as Partycity, Birthdayexpress and HobbyLobby.

How would you help us to look natural?

Don't worry if you are not very used to be in the pictures. I would guide you and your kids into natural lights and give directions to make you all feel comfortable. As said above, I am going to ask you to tickle the kids, play with them and tell a joke.

What should we wear?

This is a question that all clients will ask, I have discussed in details and suggested different examples on the outfits here.

Do you edit the photos?

Yes, the photos you've chosen will be retouched to adjust the exposure, contrast and skin tone. Wrinkles, acnes on the face, dirts on the clothes and surroundings will be removed. I typically spend 30-40 mins on each photo to make it look perfect.

What is the investment?

The investment is CAD125 for a family of 4. You'll get 5 photos in high resolution digital files. Additional photos are CAD20 each. Addition family members are CAD40 each.

What are the dates?

Any time from 25/5 up to 6/19

Session A: 5:30-6:00pm

Session B: 6pm-6:30pm

Session C: 7pm-7:30pm
