There’s nothing quite like photographing a toddler — the pure joy, endless curiosity, and sweet little expressions are such a joy to capture. For this family session at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, I had the pleasure of chasing after a lively and adorable toddler who turned the session into a heart-melting adventure.

From running under the grand archways to peeking over the bridge at ducks in the water, this little one made the most of every moment. The Palace of Fine Arts turned out to be the perfect setting — not just because of its breathtaking beauty, but because it’s such a fun space for little kids to explore safely.

We kept the shoot light and playful, allowing plenty of space for the toddler to do what toddlers do best — wander, laugh, and occasionally stop for a cuddle. The result? A gallery of images that beautifully reflects this fleeting and magical stage of family life.
